You can translate curses I think the only problem is it sometimes translates English to English not French but still great app

A Russian translator would be great for me

Although it says you must have 4.0 to take advantage of all features, it definitely does not work! Yet!! When you hit translate the app just crashes, please fix asap, thank you

When I try to update the app I get: Not enough room, delete photos or videos. Its all mixed up!

Back to 5 stars !!! This update works perfect on IOS 4. Very nice upgrade to interface as well. I have just purchased your newly rolled-out languages too.

I liked this app!should make an ispeak Japanese and Chinese.

This app is great becausei always have to ask my mom if i dont know a french word(she ussually doesnt know) an she told me to buy a translator so i did.

Its a wonderful app. Wort th 2 bucks if you want to learn french which i am, with mango languages

I downloaded this app while traveling in France, as my rusty school French was not good enough for some situations. At >100mb I assumed all the text was stored on the phone and I would be able to use it while out and about. Wrong. You need to have a network connection to use this app at all, which makes it almost completely useless when traveling abroad.

The first day I down loaded this I had to test it out with a repairman that was at the house and only spoke French. This little program saved the day!! It was easy and acurate and the repairman didnt mind the wait since he knew this was better than us guessing at each others hand signals.

This thing cant properly translate French! I want my money back

I am currently in Paris and this app is pointless as you need WiFi or 3G in order to translate anything at all. So when i go sight seeing it cannot be used. Utterly useless!!!!! I want a refund.

This app is unbelievable! I am a French teacher, and I couldnt be more impressed! Do keep in mind that youre still asking a machine (not a human being) to translate, so occasionally youve got to work with it. With that caveat, I doubt that you could find a better translator short of having a French person in your pocket. Translations are instantaneous, and the voice is completely natural-sounding, with a perfect French accent. Helpful tip: to save time hassling with the tiny keyboard, dictate your longer phrases into Dragon Dictation (which will turn your speech into typed text) then copy and paste the resulting text into iSpeak French. My first test translation was, "After breakfast, Im going to town to do some shopping. Then Im going to meet my friend for lunch. I think Ill have froglegs, which I adore." It translated without a hitch, and the spoken French was beautiful! What more could you want!

Program will interpret most things. But a lot of translations will not be in the proper context.

This app is amazing! It translates quickly and accurately and itll even read the translation out loud in a very realistic accent. Perfect for someone who is trying to brush up on their French skills or increase their vocabulary. As other reviews mention, you must be connected to wi-fi or 3G to translate. And if the app doesnt know what youre asking it, itll often repeat the phrase without translating it. Overall, this is an incredibly useful app!

The speech/accent is great! I wish there was a setting for formal/informal. It seems to default to formal.

Ok, I just started French 101. This application is "grande". I am using it on my iPad2 and have had no problems getting this to work. If the developers of this App read these reviews, I have a wish list for you: Speak it button....could you develop a repeat button...x1 x2 x3. It would be easier to practice if you didnt have to keep hitting the button over and over. But a repeat (lets say x3) would be "grande". Just one more thing sil vous plait, I have an iPad2 and iPhone4. Would it not be great to have them synch. So the information that you save on one, transfers to the other? Just a thought. Merci.
