iSpeak French App Reviews

Really enjoyed this application - in multiple languages - until the last Iphone upgrade - where you type in a second word and the app crashes! If I need to look up One Word at a time - I can use a language dictionary??? Can someone explain / correct / update???

Since upgrading to iOS 10, the app crashes immediately upon trying to add a second word in a sentence or phrase to be translated

I have also experienced the crashing problem since the latest update. Please fix.

This app is cool I like it the French language is romantic and I think if you get taught by your phone to speak French its cool

It works good but some of the words are confusing. It works better with short phrases. It works but it needs an update!!

Works as described. Allows you to save translations for future quick reference. Also allows user to have control over the speed at which the phrase is spoken. The voice playback of the translation does not play through the external speakers of the iphone. In order to hear the translation, you must connect earbuds. Hope upgrades will offer this feature in the future.

Ok, so this app IS great but with the 3.0 OS the app crashes after every translation. However, you can hear the speaker through external speaker. An update would be great.

I bought this app for a trip to French canada and played around with it. After a few minutes I noticed it crashes if you press " speak it " too many times.

Lacking in many catagories--get English to English instead of French about 50% of the time. Especially weak on different food items, as in Duck translates to Duck, Ice Cream to Ice Cream, etc. Disappointing, expected more.

I just copy a franch lyric from Internet and past it on this app I was very upset the translation. You know what this app didnt translate and shown me the same thing that I pasted. Rip off.

The people should make a ispeak Japanese. >_<

Translates english to ENGLISH, how very useless

Good translation, easy to use and clear pronouncing.

This app used to work. It has not worked for quite some time though. I enter English, it gives me English! What good is that? Please fix this, its NOT free!!

Translation often too literal though pronunciations are good.

Great pronunications but overally not so great...

Does not translate curses and the only reason I bought it was my teachers dont speak French and incase you cant put together the pieces I want to curse at my teachers and not get into trouble

All I ever get is the following when I try to use this app: Unable to connect to server, please try again later. Needless to say, I am totally frustrated and regret ever having downloaded this app. I tried to contact support for this product - that didnt work either...

But please make this an offline translator.

It doesnt work under 4.0 yet. Kind of annoying if you testing things and you suddenly need to know how to say "aunt". Hopefully the update will come out shortly.
